Synopsis

The revolutionary forces of Fidel Castro and Ernesto “Che” Guevara have shaken Havana. Fico Fellove (Andy Garcia), owner of the city’s classiest nightclub El Tropico, struggles to hold together his family and the love of a woman (Inés Sastre) amid the chaotic war. Observing all is a traveling American (Bill Murray) who sees Fico being drawn into the revolution. Eventually, Fico is forced to flee to New York, carrying his love of Cuban music with him for the rest of his life.
