Synopsis

In 1969, Leila Khaled hijacked a plane by showing her grenades to terrified passengers. Although the incident did not lead to any bloodshed, she successfully put the Palestine nation on the map and became an overnight sensation. Many people adored her, including the then teenage Lina Makboul. Thirty-five years later, the director decided to explore the life of her former idol, who now is a matriarch living in Jordan. Despite her age, Leila remains a woman with a strong sense of integrity, and she shows no regret for her past actions.
